Prep Roundup: Indians top Blazers
The Marysville High volleyball team took a five set win over rival Lindhurst on the road on Monday to win its first Golden Empire League game.
Marissa Clavelle had 10 kills and seven blocks to help lead the Indians to the 20-25, 25-23, 27-25, 21-25, 15-6 win. Annie Lin had five aces and eight assists and Cameo Stevens tallied nine digs, five kills and two aces for Marysville (4-5, 1-2).
The Blazers were led by Brenna Gates, who tallied 10 kills, eight blocks and seven aces. Ashley Taylor had eight assists for Lindhurst (0-4, 0-3).

Yuba City 3, Rio Americano 2
Augustin Lopez scored two goals and goalie Eduardo Marquez made 23 saves to give the Honkers their first win of the season.
Chris Valenzuela scored Yuba City's other goal and Gustavo Ramirez, Maricio Maldonado and Lopez all notched assists for the Honkers (1-3).
