Quincy 38, East Nicolaus 30

Josh Wilson and Kevin Logston each ran a kickoff back, but it wasn't enough to hold off the Trojans in the Spartans' Northern Section Division IV playoff loss.

East Nicolaus, who ended the game with five sophomores on offense, got a rushing touchdowns from Alex Cundiff and Wilson.

FROSH FOOTBALL

Yuba City 14, River Valley 13

Taylor Elkins completed a 22 yard touchdown pass to Nathan Gilming to help the Honkers to a close victory.

Elkins also ran in a five yard touchdown. Louis Mowers had two interceptions for the Honkers (7-3, 4-1).

For River Valley, Dewey Maxham and Izaya Johnson each scored a rushing touchdown. Jordan Mahon and Logan Morace played both ways for the Falcons (6-3, 3-2).
