Prep Roundup: Sutter High spikers pounce on Wheatland;

Kamalei Clifton had 36 assists.
Brenna McDonald had 18 service points, 14 digs and 10 kills and Dana Denton tallied nine kills for the undefeated BVL champions. Sutter finished the regular season at 34-3 and 10-0 in league.
The junior varsity team won 25-22, 25-2. The freshman team also won.

Kiley DeLozier had seven kills and served 10 straight points in the 25-20, 25-14, 23-25, 25-11 road victory.
Haley Moody and Haley Waters passed well and Mackenzie Ford had a good game at setter for the Crusaders (8-3, 8-0).

Martha De La Vega served up for assists for Faith Christian.
The win propels the Lions into playoff contention, finishing with a 15-4 overall and 10-4 in the Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League.

Spencer Iskikian scored the lone goal off an assist from Alex Lopez in the Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League match.
Robbie Farley played well on defense and Josh Hill had 12 saves for the Lions (12-8-1, 9-2-1), who begin playoffs next Tuesday.

SOCCER
The Azzurri FC under-13 boys team shutout the Vacaville Vipers 8-0 on Saturday.
Hoscar Hernandez and Andres Moreno scored a pair of goals each. Victor Garcia, Kobe Bancroft, Sully Guy, and Gilberto Lopez each scored a goal. Ivan Ambrocio had four assists.
Goalie Robert Quintero got the shutout for the FC (20-2-5).
FOOTBALL
The Junior Falcons pee wee team was eliminated from the playoffs by the Shasta Wolves in a 26-6 loss.
Dakota Asher scored the touchdown for the Falcons.
The midget team won and are still competing in the Division II title.
