* Denotes Tri-County Conference game
Four Downs with Coach
1st — What aspect of the game have you been working on most this offseason? We've been working hard this offseason to become a program. Last year we had 10 kids at most, but this summer we had anywhere from 50 to 78 in the weight room everyday. It's amazing to have 50 guys instead of just 10.
2nd — What do you feel your team's biggest strengths are right now? Our defense. We're pretty senior-heavy on that side of the ball and I think Coach (Chuck) Taylor will keep us in a bunch of ballgames. They like to get after it.
3rd — What's the toughest part of your schedule? The Tri-County Conference is tough — there's no gravy teams in our league. People are looking at us as the weakest team, but we're here to change that.
4th — Which team in the Mid-Valley are do you feel is poised for success and why? Ithurburn has a good team at Yuba City. With that offensive line and all their skill players back, I think they're the team to beat in the area.
