'Dogs bite Marysville

The Encina High girls basketball team took a bite out of Marysville, 55-47, in a GEL game rescheduled because of the Jan. 4 storm that swept through Northern California.

Lindy Lundin scored 14 points to lead the Indians (6-13, 0-3), while Alex Tanner added 13 points and Sarah Feddersen sank nine.
