Prep Roundup: Faith Christian, Marysville tie on pitch
The Faith Christian High girls soccer team bounced back from an earlier season loss to Marysville by tying the Indians 1-1 at home on Monday.
Alex Arnold's lone goal was good enough to hold off a strong Indians' attack.
"I think we outshot them 30-1," said Marysville High girls soccer coach Chris Osborne. "They just one through."
Lauren Heinrich, Sarah Hall, Laci Bicknell and Joo Lee were credited with outstanding play by Faith Christian coach Robert Ripley.
Nallely Ferreira scored Marysville's goal. The assist came from Makayla Synak.
Marysville (2-3) and Faith Christian (2-5-1) each start league play this week.
