Honkers end season on high note

Two members of the Yuba City High track and field team competed at the Sac-Joaquin Section finals at Hughes Stadium last week.
Junior Bernell Barmore placed fifth in the high hurdles with a time of 14.97 seconds on Thursday. Barmore placed 17th in the triple jump with a mark of 41-feet, 10-inches.
On Friday, Barmore finished the 110 high hurdles in 15.40 seconds to place seventh.
Senior Alex Nisperos placed 17th in the discus event (131-6).
