Four Downs with Coach
st — What aspect of the game have you been working on most this offseason? I would say trying to open up the offense with different offensive concepts. Moving from a double TE to a multiple set ... I started off as an offensive guy ... It's been a blast. In my free time I've been working on different combos and it's been great.
nd — What do you feel your team's biggest strengths are right now? I think the biggest strengths are our offensive skill players and our overall defensive attitude — all out relentless pursuit.
rd — What's the toughest part of your schedule? I think obviously the toughest part will be that five-game road trip. Just getting dressed and getting ready at a different place every week ... We have to stay focused to be successful.
th — Which team in the Mid-Valley are do you feel is poised for success and why? We saw East Nicolaus and Pierce at camp and they are really solid small schools. Sutter and Wheatland are fast, but it seems like Yuba City is the cream of the crop ... It seems like they have speed everywhere, especially defensively. Their skill players have a lot of game.
