Feddersen takes fifth

Marysville High’s Sarah Feddersen was the top local runner, finishing fifth out of 40 runners with a time of 22:19 on the 3-mile Las Plumas Invitational course in Oroville on Friday.

Faith Christian’s Angela Lee was eighth (22:34), while Sutter’s Teanna Whitaker placed 10th (22:41), Allison Tarke was 13th (23:52) and Ariel Green was 14th (24:26). Camille Crane finished 18th for Marysville (25:38) and Malina Yevgeniya was 33rd (28:39). Faith’s Adelaide Barber was 32nd (28:29), followed by Yuba City’s Jennifer Godfrey (35th, 28:49), Faith’s Faith Phillip (36th, 28:58) and Larissa May (39th, 31:53) and Yuba City’s Heather Radcliffe (40th, 32:51).
