Wy wins Las Plumas invite
River Valley High’s T.J. Wy covered the 3-mile course in Oroville in 16 minutes, 22 seconds to win the Las Plumas Invitational on Friday.
Yuba City’s Cristobal Pinedo was third (17:20), Darric Faires of Wheatland was fourth (17:30), followed by the Honkers’ Jose Almanza (7th, 18:10), River Valley’s Josh Dhillon (8th, 18:15) and Amandeep Singh (11th, 18:31), Yuba City’s Rasheed Razzada (13th, 19:01) and Gurdev Purewal (16th, 19:05).
Sutter’s Bentley Nunes was 17th (19:17), followed by Yuba City’s Tim Dubray (20th, 19:26), Sutter ‘s Jason Hubbart (22nd, 19:33), River Valley’s Thomas Jacuzzi and Trey Sarris (t-23rd, 19:38), Lindhurst High’s Austin Oliver and Dennis Daniel (t-25th, 19:39), Yuba City’s Gurpreet Kahlon (27th, 19:44) and River Valley’s Josh Owen (29th, 19:51).
Wheatland’s Phillip Faires was 32nd (19:56), followed by Yuba City’s Kristoff Kalau (34th, 20:08). Sutter’s Raj Bains was 43rd (20:54), followed by Marysville’s James Lawson (40th, 20:27) and Jacob Young (46th, 21:06), Faith Christian’s Josh Dunham (50th, 21:33), Marysville’s Joel Atkinson (51st, 21:44) and Faith’s Bobby Lovell (54th, 22:02).
River Valley’s Jonathon Hewitt was 63rd (22:57), followed Faith’s Josh Betts (65th, 23:04), Marysville’s Dylan Stanbary (69th, 23:45). Wheatland’s Adam High (72nd, 24:40), Faith’s Rob Murphy (73rd, 24:38), Wheatland’s Steven Durst (77th, 26:11) and Faith’s Justin Spence (81st, 27:59), Garson Greathouse (86th, 29:53) and James Ball (88th, 32:40).
