Freshman Anjelica Cisneros went 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored and the Honkers scored three runs in the sixth inning to pick up a Tri-County Conference win over the Tigers at home.
Sydney Womer went 1 for 2 and scored twice and Maria LaBouyer was 1 for 3 with a run scored to help the cause for Yuba City (14-4, 5-2).
Pioneer 2, River Valley 0
The Falcons left nine runners on base in a tough TCC loss to the first-place Patriots on the road.
Rachel Quinn went 2 for 3 and Kaitlin Carpenter, Hailey Shelton and Samantha Neher added one hit each in the loss for the Falcons (10-3-1, 5-2).

Colusa 2, Del Campo 1
Redskins pitcher Tiffany Friel tallied a total of 17 strikeouts and Colusa won the Union Mine tournament after sweeping the competition.
Rylee Kampf was 3 for 4 and Ashleigh Biggs was 2 for 2 in the Redskins' four-inning drubbing of Hiram Johnson that was shortened to four innings due to time constraints.
Brittanee Garcia and Sophia Garcia both tallied RBI singles to lift Colusa (28-2-1) over Del Campo in the second game.

River Valley 7, Liberty Ranch 1
The Falcons advanced to the finals of the River City Classic with a pair of victories.
In their first game, Greg Cannon pitched a complete game and went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs. Cameron Olson was 2 for 4 and Robert Hudson was 2 for 3 with a double.
In the second game, Olson was 2 for 4 and Hudson was 1 for 2 with two RBIs for the Falcons (11-7), who will play host River City in the finals today.
Yuba City 8, Valley Christian 0
Tyler Olson pitched a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts and the Honkers cruised to a shutout victory in the Surewest Tournament at Bella Vista High.
Robbie Kunkle was 2 for 4, Raul Lozano went 2 for 3 with an RBI and Olson helped his own cause by going 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI for Yuba City (14-4).

Lindhurst 16, Valley 1
Styven Fanning was 2 for 3 with a double and Andrew Sutton was 2 for 3 with a triple in the nightcap win for the Blazers (6-8-1) at the Cordova Tournament.
East Nicolaus 8, Quincy 0
Joel Wilson was 4 for 4 with a double and two RBIs and the Spartans belted 15 hits in a shutout win over the Trojans in Quincy.
Kenny Kolster went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs and Mike Zimmerman finished 3 for 5 with an RBI for East Nicolaus (7-3).
GOLF
Woodland 214, Yuba City 226
Taylor Brown shot a 1-over par 36, but the Honkers fell to the Wolves in their TCC match at Plumas Lake Golf & Country Club.
Riley Horan shot a 39, Gus Wiezorek carded a 43, Thomas Bishop fired a 49 and Gage Smith had a 59 to round out the scores for Yuba City (5-8, 5-5).
JV BASEBALL
Sutter 9, Marysville 3
Brad Bonnenfant struck out seven from the mound and smacked a three-run homer at the plate to lead the Huskies past in the Indians in nonleague action.
Hayden Heilman went 2 for 3 with a triple and four RBIs and Forrest Smith finished 2 for 3 and scored three times in the win for Sutter (19-0).
Sheldon 9, River Valley 1
Greg DeLaTorre went 1 for 3 and knocked in the Falcons' lone run in a loss to Sheldon at the Franklin High Tournament.
River Valley will play Folsom in the consolation game today at 1 p.m.
