PREP ROUNDUP: Live Oak cruises
The Live Oak High girls basketball team will roll into Sacramento Valley League play on a high note.
The Lions (10-4) ended nonleague play with a convincing 51-27 victory in Olivehurst over the Lindhurst Blazers on Monday night.
Amyah Clark had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Paulina Heredia scored 11 points and Anijah Clark added eight points to go with six rebounds.
Mila Her led Lindhurst (0-10) with nine points and Mirian Corona scored eight.
Live Oak also won the JV game, 27-25. Heavenly Smith and Maria Long scored nine points each.
Biggs 43, Sutter 41
The Lady Wolverines (9-5) edged the Huskies on the road thanks to Maribel Garcia, who finished in double figures.
Sutter (6-9) was led by Erika Larsen's 16 points and 18 rebounds, while Jaelyn Hoffman added 13 and Destiny Stevenson had eight.
