Yuba College Athletic Hall of Fame honors new inductees

The Yuba College Athletic Department honored six individuals and the 1971 "Yubadettes" drill team by inducting them into the school's Hall of Fame during a ceremony at Peach Tree Golf & Country Club on Saturday night.
Joining longtime volleyball coach Thea Bordsen-Post was her former player Kim Rollins-Grider (1986-88), who played at Williams High. Former Marysville Indians Robert "Bob" Dempsey (1955-56) and Marlin "Skip" Davies (1958-60) were both enshrined along with East Nicolaus High's Ben Terry (1961-63) and longtime athletics maintenance worker Larry Pool (1979-2009).
